Terrova serial # location?

I might have screwed up in my excitement. I mounted my troller a month or so ago, but just recently got to really spend some time on the water with it. I sort of ignored the foot pedal, and then when I did try it out, as soon as I plug it in, the motor starts rotating and doesn't stop. Dang near pulled my transducer cable in two. I had to quick like unplug it to get it to stop. Tried a couple diff. tactics between the pedal and the remote, but no good. The paper work isn't much help. Thinking there is something amiss with the pedal, as the remote functions fine.

Anyway I failed to activate my warranty yet and am not finding the serial # in any conspicuous locations. Is there a serial # for the terrova, and a diff. one for the i-pilot head? Anybody got an answer. Thx.

Serial number is up in the aluminum area where the motor sits when stowed. Just stand in front of the boat on the ground while boat is in the driveway look at the u shaped aluminum and you will see a bar code on the inside. Mine is on the right side of the aluminum. Had to get mine for insurance purposes last month and found it.

Yup, and I feel a bit silly as it's pretty much in plain sight...duhhh!
