Thread: new 998 unit problem

Here is a picture my friend Vic is having with his new 998. No matter what he has tried he cannot get rid of the "extra" line on the left hand side of his display in the water column. He has raised and lowered his transducer, raised his big motor, removed his other fish finder transducer, ran direct power line to a separate battery and more. Any ideas? All help appreciated.
