Sorry xring, I am conducting training classes all this week and have not had time to get on Crappie.com. Someone sent me an e-mail to check in though (pm’s don’t work unless you log into the web site).

I would keep the new unit and send the returned one back to universalmania as others have said. There must be some sort of intermittent problem in the unit that did not show up during testing.
