Gps is one thing that if you ever use it, you'll have to have one. Besides showing the creek and river channel's, you will eventually stay out too long, or something happens to keep you after dark, they are worth their weight. I have left out early, and as soon as I leave bank the fog sets in. Punch a couple of buttons and find yesterdays log, and follow it to honey hole.
