I know the legend on my HDS-8 shows 20' at about 1/2". I also know that it's not even close. According to the legend, I could still be 40' off a waypoint, yet in truth, only about 5' -10'. On another note Tom, I haven't found squat on how to overlay 2d with DI. New antenny arrives today, might relocate the LSS1 ducer and install the 4k this weekend AFTER Okie State fights off Mizzou. I also plan to try and find a spot to install the Garmin GPSmap 192c I've been hording on a shelf in my bedroom. High time to dust the bugger off and use it.

I have my settings on paper taped inside my HDS unit cover. I can't remember my exact settings, but I will write up some procedure for this.

I have all of my settings backed up on my sd card that I keep in my unit. This has proved to be handy when I change something that I dont like but cant remember my original settings. I just load them from the sd card.
