    Stick,

Could I talk you into giving me the overall dimensions of the MKA-32 bracket? I've got the same Terrova on order and want to plan ahead for material to mount it. I think I may need to make an aluminum adapter plate. Thanks.

Without modifying it the TM is fixed.

I ended up scoring a piece of plexi-glass to raise the entire base up so that the mount wouldn't be touching the aluminum. We'll see how it goes.

Sorry I did not see this sooner but it 1" from front bolt to the puck.

TN Hillbilly, the mka-32 bracket is 12 X 7 7/8. Keep in mind that the Terrova hangs over the sides of this bracket a little. Not sure if that matters to you.

BRB--Looks good. I'm a little suprised you left your shaft that close to you boat. Does it work okay for you that way? My understanding is that is had to clear the rail by 1 1/2 inches.

Thanks Majflyboy, I already went with the MKA-32 as I'm sure you already noticed. Think it fit my install the best.

The deck wasn't bolted down when I took the pic so it tilted forward.

Makes sense. I was starting to regret hanging mine out so far when I saw yours. I figure the 1.5 inches is just to keep shaft from pinning against boat and snapping, and probably very overboard as those guidelines usually are, but went ahead and did it how it was suppose to be. I'm sure 3/4 of an inch would be enough room and save some overhang. Love the motor and the bracket, just wish it didn't stick out so far.

I totally agree with ya on how far it sticks out. The MG I took off was flush with the very front of the boat. I wish the Terrova has the same type of mount.

    Stickman,

Thanks for the dimensions. It's a shame Minn Kota doesn't have any of that type info on their website. They should have dimensioned drawings of all the motor bases and the different mounting brackets.
