Stickman - would like to see pics when insalled with the 32 bracket. I'm also looking for a bracket, although I really need one that will possibly slide forward a little to deploy.
Big Ridge - Can you slide the trolling motor out any at all with the 16 bracket while in use?

    Default Not bad job

Got my Terrova installed today with the MKA-32 bracket. Was worried about having to level the bracket and so on, but it went great and works great. Couldn't use the holes at very end, but there are lots to choose from. The lever is very tight, but I guess that ensures a good seat of the plates. And I figure it will loosen up with time. The cover looks good too when the motor is not on the boat. Here are some pictures for any interested in the mount.

Thanks for the pics - how far past the bracket does the trolling motor base actually extend ( It appears to extend more than I expected ). I'm trying to template everything before buying a bracket
    Thanks

David MC---not sure I follow which part you are talking about. The base is flush in the back, a little hangover on each side, and of course, the big hangover on the front. I would imagine that the mounting bracket will sit completely on boat in most applications, just not on my boat. I have quite a bit of slope on the nose, and had to hang over front quite a bit to get shaft 1.5 inches clear of rub rail. That is why my bracket hangs over so much. The front holes of TM mounting holes are very close to front of bracket if that helps you. Probably 1 inch from front of bracket. If you can sityour motor on boat at desired place, and bolt through front holes of TM, the bracket will lay completely on boat. If I am confusing more than helping, let me know and I will try to help. I know how it is trying to figure out which one to buy. I am really happy with my choice. Very solid, and easy operation. And the cover is nice to when not using the TM skiing, swimming with the kids.

    Default more pics as requested

The Terrova does hang over the bracket and there is only one set of holes in the top plate of the mounting bracket to secure it to your Terrova. The good thing is that there are lots of holes to choose from in the base plate when mounting to your boat. couldn't any of the last four, but the six I did use should provide plenty of support. The entire length of overhang of TM off of bracket is 7 3/4 inches. The length from the end of the mounting bracket to the shaft of the TM when deployed is 2 inches. See attached pictures. These motors are going to hangover a lot no matter what. From inside of shaft to end of TM is 5 3/4, and that has to be 1 1/2 inches clear of boat. So no matter how flat nose of a boat you have, thre is going to be 7 1/4 inches protruding from boat. Just hope it doesn't hit the trailer roller when unloading....

I need to get one of these. Was going to order the plate that would allow me to slide my motor back when not in use. But they were out of them. Then found one got it in and guess what it was for the older power drive not the terrova. So its still in the basement. But like the looks of these even though the trolling motor is not in the way of my cover on the lund.
