    Default Maxxum Pro 80 fixed!

Finished-up fixing (re-building) my trolling motor!!!!!! I had problems with it stopping after it was running awile. The light came on but motor would not run, it first started at the crappiemasters classic and then two other times when fishing. Pain in the azz when spiderigging Truman in the wind! Anyway the re-build caost me $158 for new brushes, stater plate, armature, all seals, foot control switch, and mom/off/cont switch. I ordered it all and replaced it but I don't think it was the real problem, I cut off the heat srink on the wire connectors and holy cow the connectors where all brown and the metal was BLACK because of heat. I replaced everything just in case, so if you have one you might check yours while winter is still hear and you are not using it! I used mine ALOT spiderrigging the last 5 years fishing for fun and in tournaments.Hands Clapping
