[QUOTE=EnonEye;1325490]I've had several different brands in the past. Don't think any one brand is better than the other although a pro friend of mine recommends only Interstate but he might own stock so who know? In my opinion it's a lot like coooking fish, it's not the fish that tasts bad it's how you prepared it. It's not the battery that's bad it's how you maintained it. There's one thing about batteries...you get what you put into them. Keep them well maintained, water levels, recharging fully after fully drained... those are the things that will serve up a long battery life. On the other hand, if you mistreat, allow to freeze, partially recharge or charge before completely drained... that's when you get stuck with a battery that won't start the engine or run the trollin motor while the wind drifts you further out into the lake. If you're gonna do that I'd recommend a heavy anchor.[/Q
the interstates i had and the everstart are maintained the same ,bought 2 interstates at the same time and they won`t make it a full 3yrs and i know everstarts will, will never buy another interstate marine or 4wheeler battery(thats what is on my fourwheeler 2yrs and acts like its going bad)but the interstate automible batteries i have owned have been the best ive ever owned .
