Power drive iPilot will not work on Terrova. I learned the hard way. The connections are completely different.

Crap, Was hoping it was close would save me some money? djack did you do the samething I was trying to do ? Pdv2 I-pilot on a Terrova

I bought a PDV2 and I-Pilot then decided what I really needed/wanted was the Terrova with U2 transducer. I was able to return/swap the PDV2 but not the I-Pilot, Blueball got a deal on a new I-Pilot. I finally got another I-Pilot for Terrova and now everything is great. Wouldn't trade my Terrova for anything else.

djack 'Yes thats what I want on my boat too, but have the pdv2 on it now just don't know if I will spend money on it now, and hope I can save money next year for the terrova with I-plot ?or just put that $400 on it ???? Thanks

The i-pilot on your PD might make it easier to sell when the time comes.

whats wrong with the powerdrive,if its big enough why not just get the ipilot and talk to canepole and get one of his maximizers where u can use ur footpedal too.just my opinion

Don't know how much the maximizers are from CP ? that would work for now I think ? But still think The Terrova 80Lb Would hold better in the wind and current ??
