HUMMINBIRD 788ci QUESTIONS

Just acquired a 788ci and box says it has clear view and switchfire, but going through all the menus and settings I can not find them. Do I have outdated software? or are these features not available for this model?

Also cannot set up an account on H'birds web site to see updated software downloads, but will keep trying to register. Is anyone else having these problems?

Next question: if you have an sd card reader/writer can you download to a card off the web and install new program in the unit, or do you have to purchase their card reader?

#1) Do you have the Advanced Menus on?? This is under the setup tab.
#2) Not sure I had no problems.
#3) Should work I've had no problems with mine.

You can load from computer to SD then put SD in unit and you are good to go. It is all explained on HB website. Was pretty easy and I am stupid on computers
