The fix is to buy a pair of screws longer then the factory ones that holds the foot pedal on the foot control. I think mine were about 1/2" longer then the factory ones. These 2 screws put pressure on the 2 springs holding the foot pedal on. Play with how tight you have them to get the pressure you like.
But if does not have enough pressure it will not work right. As there's 2 little screws that has to hit the contacts to keep the motor from turning . If it does not have enough pressure it will turn and keep going. So its a feel game but does make it where it can be used.
