These have always puzzled me. They are all from gravel pits that I fish regularly. They are more than 50 years old and I have fished them for 20 years.
The first pic is something man made, I just can't tell what.
The second one, I just dont know, IF that is just how the bottom looks, how could it still be that pointy and top heavy after all these years?
the third one I call mohawk ridge. I haven't a clue what that is lining the ridge.
Any interpretations?![]()
The first one looks like some kind of work area, on the bottom right side looks like some kind of walk way or conveyor??
How fast did this pit flood out could be some old machines or something down there??
Good looking pics, have not been able to get out and use mine here lately![]()
To Kman pict#3 that looks like weed growth or algae growing down there. Any how that's exactly how weed patches on bottom of lake show up on my sidefinder. Could it be some sort metal conveyor belt covered with algae. or the metal track off a crane/bulldozer.
I don't suffer from insanity; I enjoy every minute of it.....

Looks like a old road to me. I have one image somewhere from Grenada that looks a lot like that and I know it is an old submerged road.
The first ones look a lot like the gravel elevators I see here in the gravel pits still functioning. See if you can match this up. to the above SI image.
