SEMOMike... so, I'm good without, but if I want to add anything to them, I'll need cards... These maps - do you get them online, or is it something you buy? I'm assuming you buy them : )

Cabela's -- Lake Map Software
click on above site at Cabelas to see what map cards there are that fit your unit. Its great to buy last years card at sale prices as must lakes are only updated every few to 8 years, except of course for the new hi deft lakes on biggie dollar cards. You have to read what works in your unit plus of course see which have your lakes on them. When you buy a blank SDHC card to save as back up all your sites stay with the Sandisk brand as they always work in HB stuff without fail.

When you buy your card, you might want to investigate what kind of card slots you have in your pc..
Although SDHC card readers are very cheap, I wanted to use the card reader already installed in my desktop pc...
My desktop card reader being an '07 model only accepted SD cards... big difference....an SD card reader will not read an SDHC card....
I bought the Sandisk Extreme III 2.0 GB SD card...the largest Sandisk makes in the SD format....

We stopped by Gander Mountain in Jackson,Tn after Christmas so I could fiddle with the displays. Nothing worked.
The buzzbaits working there didn't know how to turn the power strips on. Amazing. I did see one of helpers texting on his cell phone though. Well, he could have been playing a cell phone game. my o my.

Don't want to highjack the thread but I was at Gander the other day and guy asked if I need help and I said I need a power cable for a humminbird, and he said we don't carry those. I said you mean you don't carry this power cable as I reached for it hanging on the rack 6 inches from his elbow.
