slimyslab- Accuracy is not my complaint. If I mark something he GPS cooridinaes are correct. It is getting back to what I mark. I may be in fact doing something wrong. All I know is that with my handheld I can go staight to the coordinates and not do circles trying to find them. It doen't take a whole lot to confuse me.lol..

I don't think you are doing anything wrong that is the way mine & all others I have seen act its in the unit itself like is is not updating its info- & gets lost that's why I coined the termSLOW GPS on another site a few years back. Yep my Garmin handheld goes right to it first time every time.
I am usually zoomed out up to plus100 feet maybe but as I get within 60 feet or so of waypoint I zoom in to the 20 foot mark.
Sure I have waited almost four years for this update but I am still alive(bout 70 now) and it is coming so I have to say thanks to HB fer gettin it Dun! I may be breaking ice but I will get on water soon as I get update..............

Amazing thing this new technology. I was just wondering how long it would be before it hit with HB. I just purchased 2 798's and love them. they work great and get me to my spots without any trouble what-so-ever. I am looking forward to the upgrade.

If any of you guys are members of the Yahoo UnOfficial Humminbird Side Imaging Group web site: Mark Gibson the Senior Brand Manager for Humminbird has posted a bunch of Down Imaging images that they have been taking. There are also a few of the upcoming Amber 1 and Amber 2 Si Color menu settings as well. They are in their own album titled “Down Imaging (duh!)
