Snake I have been using plastics since I was a kid and I started out pond fishing with hair jigs and jigs like the jellyjig. I never kept up with the particular names of them back then so I am not familiar with the name canyon skirt jigs. As far as the loop knot goes I will try it one day in the future but from my past experiences they either bit the 2 jig set up or they did not, the knot did not seem to have an impact as far as I could tell. However when I get back into fishing I will be experimenting with it. I am always open to learning new things or trying different techniques, because I do know when it comes to crappie sometimes the little things count big.
