I catch all my crappie in spring(crappie are shallow)thru summer crappie are 20ft or so, but my spots don't have any structure for winter pool. should i drop my bamboo condo's(15-20ft tall) close to these areas in 25ft of water or at the closest bend in the channel,?? any help would be greatly appreciated, i'm 2yrs into crappie fishing(been an avid bass tounament angler for 15yrs) since i purchased a HB SI unit and can easily find crappie and most of the time catch them. I just want to know if i drop these condo's close to proven spots will they still work in the late fall winter. I would also like to know some ways to catch suspended crappie, i can find them with my HB SI but can't catch them by casting, been getting rod holders for spider rigging.
