You can order a presto gran pappy from walmart. Holds a 48 ounce bottle of oil. Just plug it in and it will get to 350 degrees in a few minutes. I have used them for years. I had 3 , but the one in my camper was destroyed when the camper rolled during hurricane Laura. I keep oil in one just for fries. I use it 4 or 5 times. The other gets a fresh bottle of oil. If I cook fish only, I strain the oil and reuse once. If I cook shrimp and fish I throw it out.
