We fished mid-river on Gibson Rocky Point area, was no problem catching bait shad was as thick as an Asian Carp video literally jumping out of the water on both sides of the boat when we pulled into the cove at RP. The four of us had 8 rods in the water and 10 jugs free drifting we fished all night from rocky point up to mission bend never could get a hot bite going picked up about 1 or 2 every couple of hours. Mostly throw backs but did manage 4 that went about a 1 1/2 pound so enough for a meal on the lake but nothing more. I have heard a lot said about night fishing during a big moon I don't know if that was the problem but it's the only thing I can point a finger at as to why we did not do any better.
