You can get a red horn cast net at walmart for less than 30.00. Just don't go to big until you learn how to throw them. A 4 ft is a good place to start. I carry 8 and 10 footers in my boat and use my 6 ft 98 percent of the time and get all the shad I need. Drifted for a couple hours this morning before it got really hot and kept a few. They wanted the small 3 inch shad today. Didn't catch a fish on big shad
