Thanks for the comments guys. I forgot to add that the water temps at Morgan Point were 58-60 degrees...Coal Pile was 60 degrees afternoon, 57 degrees morning.
The ramp off the point is decent access. Although the ramp is mostly gravel and silt, I've had no problems launching and loading from there. I can foresee that the dirt road off Hwy 212 that leads to the ramp may be a problem during or after a rain. The biggest problem is the lack of parking.
A word of caution to anyone's first trip out there. Be sure to take it easy, especially in any water shallower than 8'. It is loaded with stumps just under the surface. I found quite a few with the TM out in the channel heading back up north along that red line. You will see 20' bass rigs running 70 mph around through there...I guess they either really know the area, or are just really stupid. I guess you just can't fix stupid, as one passed within punching distance of my boat at a speed greater than 50 mph. Seems like everybody either passes you on plane at break neck speeds, or slows down just enough to create a 3' tsunami coming towards you. Enough rambling, just don't haul it through there until you learn your way around.
And the cut-out countertop was a gift from the generous, yet disabled, Goocher!:D
