    Default Greeson Is Getting Better

They've been real scattered on Greeson lately with falling water levels and a sudden 10-degree drop in water temps but today they seemed to be settling in a bit. We kept 30 including 3-green carp, a Catfish and a Bream and they were bunched up a lot better than they have been.

Most were in the 14 to 17-foot range but a few were shallower and deeper. It looks like SWEPCO plans to hold the lake about where it is, which will help a lot. I think December is going to be a great month to be on Greeson.

No, I ordered some off ebay before I knew about them. I built some rod holder mounts that articulate in three different directions...the top piece being a 28" long 1 1/2" piece of angle. This will hold 4 holders. I just got the first set of holders in yesterday. They really are nice...although it has taken a month to get them. They averaged 8 dollors a piece. I'll post pics when I get it all done. I've been working on this little build for a while now...lol. I probably should have listened to Agrihawg when he told me I could build the holders too....but I ordered some instead... :rolleyes Had some insight from Agrihawg on my vertical rod holder that holds my rods when I'm running. :D Its made from 1 1/4" PVC...should hold 10-12 rods when I'm finished. I guess its like anything else I've done...lol, I'm never happy and will be tinkering with it as long as I have it. :D

Mine are ALOT like that...just out of 1 1/4" PVC...they screw down onto floor flanges so they are easily removed when I'm bass fishing. I used the table saw and put a 6 or so inch groove down the middle of the upright pieces...this keeps them straight as your going down the lake. I'll post pics soon of it.
