That's an awesome catch Lucky! Congratulations......You were brave to be out there today what with the lake wind warnings and all. I took the day to re-rig poles and reorganize the boat. I did catch a few good ones yesterday afternoon on Lake Monticello but nothin like this. My best yesterday was a 16.5" that went 2 lbs and 13 oz. I am going to have to get up there and spend some time to learn that lake. If I am not mistaken you are the one that told me that Cane Creek was "worth getting to know" when I made my first trip down there last Friday morning. I was the one who was running back to Lake Monticello around 10am.

Way to go Lucky, I decided to stay home because of the wind, wrong choice looking at your catch. Did you catch them on a jig and cork or shiners. That's a heck of an average on that catch. Probably see you up there next weekend.

    A bad day of fishing
beats a good day at work.

I've seen a creel of 10 weighed in over 20 pounds, but your 7 has to be a record. That sure would make a great stringer mount.

Beautiful stringer, bud, but how about helpin' out the rest of us poor saps?

What are you using? How deep are you fishing, generally? What is your presentation? We ALL like to know how they are caught sos maybe we can apply it to our OWN lakes donchaknow.

Thanks for sharing the stunning photo. Now, how 'bout sharin' a little info? That's what this site is all about.
