Nimrod, that sounds like a plan. I have been wanting to fish with you and pick your brain. Do I need to bring any other tackle other than my usual 10' crappie rod and tackle box. And Gooch, an 8 year old should be a walk in the park compared to my 3 year old grandaughter that we have here every day while her mom is in school.

Oh, I forgot, do you have seats in your boat or do I need to bring my own bucket? LOL

Only CEB would make a fishing partner sit on a bucket. I'm sure Nimrod is the type feller that has comfortable seating, snacks and drinks.

All you need is a jig pole ,jigs , and bring your own life jacket. Most people have one that fits them best. I went out this morning and limited out after losing several nice fish. :D The wind was rough and waves raised the trolling motor out of the water at times. Talked to Slabbandit's buddy and he said it was slow. Talked to a California man who has a camp on the lake and he never got a bite. The fish are in 9 to 12' water right off the bottom.

Yep, I do take a larger than average life jacket, I'll bring it along. I also plan to sweet talk Lesa into making one of those chocolet deserts.
