    Another good day today. I cleaned 34 crappie, 5 whites and a bluegill!
    The crappie are near brush along drop offs half way back in coves. Shineee Hineees and Yum curl tails have worked best. They have been suspended 8' to 20' down over 25' of water or more.

    Slab Rookie? Where you been? Did you make crappie camp? Let me know how the fishing has been going? I have a campsite at Horseshoe Bend from Friday to next Wednesday, plan on doing my fair share of fishing that's for sure! I am hoping to get a nightstalk together....?? MM
