Ceb , the Crappie on Nimrod are known to suspend over deeper water. We have flats and years ago before I quit trolling caught lots of slabs trolling 18'' deep in hot weather. We still find them suspended over the brushpiles at times jig fishing .:D Hope we can get a bunch to fish Nimrod next month.
