We did however give a mess to a gent who was wanting fish, he is in his 80's and was happy to get them, for me it was a pleasure to meet him.

It's great to help our neighbors and friends and of course people that just can't go anymore every once in awhile as long as that doesn't turn into an excuse to be greedy which I know that isn't what you did. You're a generous person and that's a good thing. I give some away on occasion too. I just release most of em. I've seen people not take em if they weren't cleaned. IMO, they really didn't want the fish bad enough to get them from me. Lol
