Every time this subject comes up we always have Nimrod (the lake)pop up too. You guys get the point anyway.

Thanks Bill , we have folks all the time riding us about keeping too many fish . But they don't understand releasing them does not help here . But we also have some lakes that are hurting when there is no high water in northern part of the state during the spawn . We feed lots of people that can't fish anymore and releasing the fish just adds to the problem on a few of our lakes . Some are not liking the increase from 20 to 30 Crappie , mostly ones that can't catch or understand overpopulation hurts growth .Crappie are not long lived fish and need fast growth for great fishing . Wish they could give part of ones here to the lakes needing fish .
Don't see how some lakes stay good with the pressure they get in Mississippi.
