Since you are cookin with a cajun cooker, I suggest you make a little etoufee to pour over your fish. That is famous down here in south La. Can use crawfish or shrimp.

Arkansas river has SEVERAL dam systems on it. Well when the water above the dam gets low enough....they will shut the water that they are letting go below the dam off. Been my experience that when they shut the water off.... The bite immediately quits. I say "quits" but I probably should say "Change". The current forces fish in places that "breaks" the current that food will will get washed by. So....a place that the current is not effecting them but will occasionally present them with food. When they shut the water off....they come out of the places they are using for current breaks and can roam anywhere they want. And the food quits washing by them so they have to go find it. So.......my thinking is....when they shut off the water.....the fish spread out and are no longer congregated. Therefore they bite drastuically decreases. Hope I helped.

Great bunch of whoppers. I love a little change in taste from time to time and those cats when cleaned right can be really good.
