I have you some waypoints CEB. I have been fishing this area for a month now. Looks like it is time to move on. Oh, I talked to this older man today on the lake, he said that they were supposed to dig 10 or 12 wells to pump the lake back up and that the Horseshoe lake residents voted to try to make the lake private. See said it was in Hughes paper. I do not know, I did not read it.

However if that is true. I bet Karefree and the bait store up on the highway whithers away.If that is true, crappie just got smaller . Heck, on a good day you can catch 100 those little suckers. I guess in a couple of years they'll be begging people to fish to reduce the population.

Yeah I caught a couple of cats yesterday at L. Chicot and had a couple get off and one broke my line. Had them for supper last night, they were good coming from that cold water. One was about 3 lb. and one about 4 lb.

Rusty bet you about fell asleep today with that light wind. You dont usually fish unless its cold and whitecapping.

Come on down Saturday and fish with us and you wont have to worry about the wind or thugs. Nothing but slabs are comming on a boat ride with us and winds should be calm.
