I thought that would get your attention.
Get off at Mayflower go back over the freeway. Turn right (north) on 365?? go about 6 miles till you cross Gold creek. Watch for the dirt road right after you cross the creek. Turn right, go to the end to the launch. The guy that runs it is very informative. He also has your minners.
From the launch, go to the right, under train tressel, about 3/4 mile you will see the cove to the right. Go under the pedestian bridge.
From the bridge to the mouth, the depth is about 10'. Right out in the middle it usually is about 9'. Good brush piles right in the middle of the cove, in the middle of the gut as it enters the cove, and just to the right of this pile.
But, I have caught them all over the cove.
You should do well with your style here. The creek itself is good during transitions. The Flats I always mention are directly in front of the launch.
