Conway Update 01/29/07

Fished Lawrence landing last 2 days and have cought around 8-10 each day on small pinks about 10-11 ft deep from the bank. Tomorrow is promising to be bitter cold but I may be out there again

You know the BP gas station down there by gold creek? Take the left if your coming from Conway (Right if from Mayflower) and go straight the road will curve to the right follow it until you see Lawrence Circle on the left and take that left then you can't miss it.

Thanks for the update, Coats. Haven't heard from you in awhile. So you say there's a little honey hole right there by Lawrence's Landing? May have to go check that one out too.:D

Yup!
I occasionaly put in there and throw roostertails at the docks and boat houses from there to Gold Creek point later in the spring. I do fairly well with the bream there.

well the boathouses are gone its just a deep hole now and a boat launch..don't get it confused with brennon landing

I went out there tonight about 30 minutes before dark and here is the biggest one I caught. There were 3 younger guys out there with one fish on the stringer and I caught 5 to add to their one plus a yellow and some smalls. (Forgot my bucket argh) Notice the severely chapped upper lips and the wind burn. Gotta love crappie fishing!
