I hate the boats that slow down with bow in the air thinking they are being curtious! I have hollared and pointed till some stopped and said '' well I slowed down ? '' They looked dumbfounded when they saw the 4' swells behind them. Most folks need to look and see what wakes leave least wake for passing folks and give room when passing. Nothing worse than an idiot passing by less than 50' on an open lake over a mile wide! I have actually had folks pass me so many times in one day washing me around that I made it a point to remember them later on the water when passing them . Thing to remember many folks cuss the big boats on plane passing but some of the small over loaded , under powered , and stick steer boats produce bigger waves.
