The AGFC report today in my inbox lists some bait shop for Lake Brewer. Used to be one years ago, but I don't know of any. Where is this one? What's it like?

I don't know of one. The closest one I know of is on Overcup.......There was one a few years ago at Plummerville by the gas station where you get off of I-40 but he didn't last long.

Well, I'm sorta ticked.

Dang Brewer is about the ONLIEST place I know of that isn't totally flooded. Course, the potholes are, I'm sure. But if the birds are eating trucks, then I ain't going. I gots me a new 'spensive hoopty and I ain't risking that for a few 12 oz. crappie. 12 oz Redd's apple ale, MAYBE. But not fish!

Seriously, when do these 'young vultures' leave out??? Is this one the main launching ramp or the far-flung one??

Just don't park on the Springfield side the South ramp isn't as bad from what I hear. I was out there a few weeks ago and they didn't mess my truck up, but there were footprints on my hood. Them some nasty things for sure.
