No sir those large pro tubes will allow a round head jig inside with no problem. I smooth off the rough spots on lead , spit or apply some type of oil (fish attractant) for lube on it and insert. Pop the eye through and your ready to tie on your line. Since I seldom use fish attractant , the spit might be working .

You are correct Sir. I don't catch near as many fish as I did before I quit dipping. don't spit any Skoal or other candied snuff. DP
