    Default Hensley again

Went out to Hensley again last Saturday with a buddy. Bite was horribly slow but we managed to drag in an eatin mess. A few good ones:

1st fish of the day, buddy missed it and I pulled it in a few seconds later. Thats what friends are for! LOL

Nice bream I caught on a minnow.

Left Hensley and went to Plum bayou. Couldnt even catch a bream on a cricket. Between the muddy water and the hydrilla or whatever that crap is fishing was no good. Did have a little visitor put on a show for us catching minnows. He swam within 10 foot of the boat before he poked his head out and saw us

I use jigs 95% of the time. That bream was caught on a #6 minner critter tipped with a minnow so it was 50/50!

I've had good days and bad on the bayou. Last time I was on it for crappie I caught a limit in 4 hours of nice ones jigging around the cyprus. That was before my son was born in 09. Now you cant even get up to the trees.

    Visitor was a coon.

That pretty cool! Most people don't give those bandits credit where credit is due!
