Yeah I would take my catfish gear if i was you. I've been fishing all day down there for 15 - 20 crappie the past 3 weekends. Definitely not worth long of a drive right now. last saturday there were only 4 other boats at the ramp which is way off for this time of year.

I heard it's been pretty slow last few years all around. May not be much truth to that but what I've been told. Sure is a fun lake to fish when thr biting!

Went up there three weeks ago and caught 11 fishing all day long. It was our first time fishing that lake but we covered a TON of water. Did look like the catfish were hitting yoyos though.
