Well I don't know how to say this except to say it. I am sitting here in my recliner on day 2 of a colonoscopy prep feeling like crap and I get a post from Crappie Greg with a kind remark about the post I made about slabbers in the cove. When I read that the fish I caught was probable the biggest ever caught in Conway lake, I started thinking about it. The more I thought the more I started second guessing myself. I weighed the fish on my wives kitchen scale and I started wondering if that thing was really right. Well to make a long story short I found another scale and pulled the fish out of the freezer and weighed it and it weighed 2.77 pounds. And after doing this I cannot let this stand, I would rather be known as an idiot than a person that tells lies. All I can ask at this point is that you understand that this mistake was unintentional and I would understand if you guys no longer wanted me to participate in this forum. I am so sorry for this mistake. And especially to the guys that have been fishing for years trying to catch a fish this size. Farren
