On high pressure days, a slight drop can turn the fish on, when it levels out again they go back on lockdown. Same for extremely low pressure. They seem to respond well to a slight rise/fall, especially when it is extremely high or low. The ideal range (my opinion) is when it is between 29.9 and 30.12 and slightly rising or falling. Obviously, this situation is rare, but being aware of what the barometer is doing has helped me catch more fish. When it is super high, I look to deep brush, and when low, I look shallow.
    Good stuff!

Have you ever tracked how accurate the BP forecast is? I was under the impression that BP forecasts were almost impossible to make. This is the first BP forecast that I have seen. If this is fairly accurate I will be putting it on my phone tonight.

I have never checked it, but I will keep these pics and compare it in a few days to see how much it changes.

Chris, please send me the coordinates once more time. The first ones you gave me show to be in the Mojave desert.

Nice hold on the slabs (I assume they were over 8 inches).

I love it!!! I gotta be honest though, it took some getting used to. Its like holding a feather compared to all of my other jig poles. Even the slightest tap feels like a SLAM on this pole. Seems to be the perfect jig pole so far. Thanks a bunch.
