On high pressure days, a slight drop can turn the fish on, when it levels out again they go back on lockdown. Same for extremely low pressure. They seem to respond well to a slight rise/fall, especially when it is extremely high or low. The ideal range (my opinion) is when it is between 29.9 and 30.12 and slightly rising or falling. Obviously, this situation is rare, but being aware of what the barometer is doing has helped me catch more fish. When it is super high, I look to deep brush, and when low, I look shallow.
Good stuff!
