Default Caught a few after work.

Took off a little early today, it was such a beautiful day I just had to get out of there and go fishing. The weather was great, the water temp. was 69 degrees. Fishing was a little slow but caught 16 and kept 9. Used my tried and trusted method of cast and retrieve with the roadrunner.

I'm pretty sure Jerry has a nice little honey hole out at Cane Creek, just outside of Star City, AR.

Hey Jerry, is there a 10" min. length out there?

Oh yea, I noticed that it was dark in the pic...I can't think of a better way to end the day, nice catch J.

I know exactly where Cane Creek is located. My family owns around 8000 acres in lovely Lincoln county. Several acres right next to the lake.

Yeah these are Cane Creek crappie. There is a 10 in. lenght limit, and a 15 creel limit on this lake. Right now you'll catch about as may throw backs as keepers. When the water temp cools down the bigger crappie will get started hopefully.
