    Default The Bait Pump...

Has anyone tried or tested this product yet? I happened across it today and was curious as to the effectiveness of the product, thanks.

    Thumbs up Yes

Minnowman, Yes I have tried and tested the bait pump and I can honestly say that it is one of the few products that lives up to its billing.

I have used it side by side with my dad (who was not using it) and have caught several fish (4-5) to his one. Once he started using it, we were catching about even.

minnowman....I've been using one for quite a number of months, and it has paid for itself many times in good crappie. Give it a try, you'll like it. To order, go to the LA board and click on one of "Slab Hunter's" post and you will see a link at the bottom.

Dwyane, I really appreciate the information, sounds like an appealing attractor for fish, I would assume this might work equally well, on pumping bait into a spring laced treble hook for some good channel catfish, hmmm. I would say I am going to have to buy this product, thanks.

LA Bill, Thanks too, for the information on this. I will go to the Louisiana state message board and look for this...if you find it before me, please send me that link I would really appreciate it. Where in LA do you live? Do you ever fish Toledo bend, I went in January of '04 and slaughtered the largemouth right by the bridge that seperates fresh water from the salt water I think, my roommate at the time was Cajun to the bone and his dad works the COE down there, we got PRIME guided fishing, I learned to "dropshot" in up to 50 ft of water, pulling 4 to 7 pounders out like it was NOTHING! I have to get back soon. Thanks again for info on Bait Pump.....Caleb

    Default Bait Pump

Works great here (Maine) I keep it in a plastic slide lock bag. Hopefully it will work as well in Florida this winter and I won't have to listen to that d*** aerator all day.

I guess it would work for that as long as the bait you are using is in a paste form. The bait pump does alot but I don't think it will squesse (sp) a solid into a paste.
    Good luck,
