Man, ya'll are making me skeered of my boat! As far as hanging stuff over the side of the boat... that takes guts, at least when it ain't too cold for snakes. I hate snakes... and any time I've been around water after sunset I seem to see a whole lot of them. There might me some things I'd do over the side of a boat at night, but giving them creepy crawlies a shining target ain't one of them. I'd just have to lose a minner bucket... or a boot.
