That 23 lber was a good one!
My biggest in photos was 60, I've caught several in the 30's on Bass Tackle. That one string of 15 totaled over 200 lbs. Unsure of the exact weight as no good scales. Funny story on the stringer. We pulled up to a log yard and asked to weigh our fish . The folks thought we were nuts . They said the scales only weighed in 20 increments. Sure were shocked when we drug the stringer out onto drive on scales. LMAO
I would rather have a 5 to 10 lb Flathead to cook than anything that swims here.
We have caught lots of good Flatheads in gill nets . I've took Xring running limb lines and caught a 42 lber. My son helped land a 41 lber on a noodle. Fishing for big Flatheads can be very exciting.
