The last I had was Gamagatsu "Did I spell it right"? They were 8 or 9/0 with 1/2 the shank of these, but were not stainless steel. They had a coating on them, when you would sharpen your hooks they would rust. But I loved how they were made!
If Bates gets some smaller ones in this morning I will try to do some swapping!

I can never find slicks unless I go pay $8 a pound! I never have been able to find them in the water. Bluegills will be a dime a dozen soon!
Most creeks and Fouche la Fave River are full of Slicks around here. I use mostly 5/0 or 6/0 Eagle claw hooks in stainless on limblines and noodles. Those hooks are very costly . I had a guy give me a an tangled old snag line full of 9/0 hooks. Have not tried them.
I have caught several 30 to 42 lbers on the smaller hooks. How big has your biggest been over there?
