    Default Another Introduction

Several other new guys have introduced themselves so I guess I should as well.
I am located in central Arkansas, have been for about 5 years. I have been fishing all my life but only recently started targeting crappie. So far I mostly fish Little Maumelle River but have also fished the Big Maumelle, Palarm Creek, the Arkansas River, Wattensaw Bayou, and Plum Bayou. I fish mostly out of a canoe or kayak, that is what I have for now. I have already learned quite a bit on here and look forward to learning more. Appreciate the great resource.

Hey Geo, I've been in some of those same places. What was your experience on Palarm, and where are those bayous?

I only caught a couple crappie in Palarm, I did pretty well on channel cats in there on minnows. The water was flowing pretty good and I probably wasn't fishing the right spots for crappie. Plum Bayou is over around England and Wattensaw Bayou is over by Hazen.

Welcome from another new member. The only thing I have ever caught I Wattensaw is bass on jigs. But that's been a few years ago.
