After I went to 2 doctor's officies today, these went in the water today at Old River

    Along with this

    1st fish of the year

    Caught on Funky Chicken

501Mooney87 caught this pig, 2.5 lb, biggest fish either of us have caught at Old River EVER

And after the day was done, we ended up with 19 keepers (I use that term lightly). I noticed once we got back to the landing several of the fish had shrunk. I probably got excited and kept a few fish that were under my personal size restrictions, but they will sure make good fish chips tomorrow night.

I thing about going out there on the old river soon, maybe next week if all work out.
All men are created equal, some work harder in the preseason.

Nice fish, and good luck with your crappie cover.

Are there any public boat ramps on that lake?

Is that lake private? Last year I saw a lot of people fishing there around a ramp on the bank, but it seems like there were signs there before that it was private.
