I have been looking at some older post:

In some of you'll older post on making a log/journal and what to put into it. Most of you'll have said the same thing for me. I needing to make one. So now I'm going to make one and keep up with it. Is there a PC program like a spread sheet to keep one on or is it better to have it on paper.
On keeping the journal no one has said anything about sex of the fish, is that important?

Look into Evernote. Its an application you install on your desktop computer whether it be Mac/PC/Linux. What I did was made a hunting journal and a catfishing journal. Every time I go out I jot down what I saw, temps, sunny/cloudy and what I bagged for the day, and the place where I fished. Then If I want to pull a report up for say Black River, I just search for "Black River" and it gives me everything I did on the Black River. The real kicker is, smart phone integration. They have apps for iPhones, Droids, and Blackberries, so I can snap a pic and upload it along with the journal entry. Oh yeah, and its a FREE application and it syncs between all devices.
