Default Well today was brush setting day

It's really tough setting brush by yourself but it can be done. I set 7 different piles on Dequeen today. Got lucky as the snow had broke down a lotta cedars. Bad part was I forgot to charge my trolling batteries so that sucked, they are on charge now before we hit Little River in the morning. From the weather forecast I heard on the radio this morning they are calling for 4+ inches of rain Wed. I told my fishing partner we better go in the morning before the water gets up on the river so we got minners this evening. Marked a few fish down deep today but didn't give them much of chance, at 30+ feet they could be anything from spots, crappie, whites, even cats. Hope the brush setting pays off in time.

I have found in most cases adding structure helps any where , some places with lots of open water even more.

Well everything I set today was in open water. The lake has brushy coves but I didn't even brush them, will later though.
