    Default Full moon

For those that believe fishing is good around a full moon, it will be Tuesday. They say Bream bed around the full moon. I used to love to fish spinnerbaits for Bass around a full moon at night. When moon appears in the day time , Catfishing seems to pick up in daylight hours. What are your feeling on fishing around a full moon?

I used to bass fish A LOT at night and I always seemed to do better when there wasn't a full moon.

Back in the late 70's early 80's use to have Tuesday or Thursday night bass tour on lake Dardnelle from 6:00 pm till 9:00 pm out of I think it was called Oneda "I think" Had lots of fun and good times learned alot about fishing and bass fishing unreal the strings of bass brought in that amount of fishing time. Great bunch of guys to fish with.Do they still have them?

No catfish on the trot lines at night with a full moon. Full moon is a good time for all fishermen to stay home, day and night, and leave the lake to me.

In the past moon was bad for me and fishing at night, bass that is. Last year I caught better than I ever have at night with that darned old moon out. I'm thinking of going tonight to give em a whirl on Hamelton. I'd also like to scan the shallows to see if the bream are back up doing their thing. Some lakes seem to be more of spinnerbait lakes while others are better for soft plastics.

Forget the trotline and make a run to Nimrod with me.

Won't be long now (couple months) and we'll be that direction. Work is interfering with my fishing and my crappie.com addiction. Hope by next weekend, I'll get a break and can see if I still know how to catch a fish.

Crappie fishin at night sucks when the moon is bright. I never liked setting jugs for catfish on lit nights either. Crappie fishing during the daytime is OK though.Thumbs Up
